They are individual, eclectic and retain many clues to their heritage, although have been refurbished to be very comfortable with tasteful furnishings and modern kitchens and bathrooms.
Step out from any of the cottages and there’s a very short walk past the mighty chimney stack down to the Torrs Gorge where you can join the award-winning Millennium Walkway and marvel at the beauty of Mother Nature claiming back the river. All properties are self-catered and fully equipped and there are charging points for electric cars.

The cottages are perfectly located to make the most of the plentiful attractions of the Peak District National Park, and with the Manchester to Sheffield and Manchester to Buxton railway line running through the town, these buzzing cities are easily accessible without having to worry about parking the car.
